MDA – Missouri City is a commercial development designed with a landscape plan that enhances the site's visual appeal, functionality, and long-term sustainability. A key component of the project was successfully navigating the overlapping and sometimes conflicting landscape requirements of both the City of Missouri City and the Sienna development standards, ensuring the design satisfied all applicable regulations while maintaining a cohesive project vision.
The scope of work included the preparation of planting plans, irrigation plans, valve and watering schedules. Plant selections were carefully chosen to provide year-round interest, complement the architectural character of the development, and thrive within the local climate. The irrigation design was developed to promote healthy plant establishment, maximize water efficiency, and support long-term landscape performance while meeting the unique requirements of both reviewing entities.
The completed landscape design demonstrates BLA's ability to successfully coordinate complex entitlement and permitting requirements, delivering an attractive, sustainable environment that enhances the property's appearance while ensuring full compliance with multiple development standards.
